Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

Chris has been rather troublesome for the last several weeks. I lay the blame for his being so problematic at the feet of his mother. He has demanded on several occasions to go live with his mother. There are many reasons why this is not a good idea but, I have decided to let him end his grass is greener mentality. I spoke with his mother this morning and advised her that he wants to go live there and that she needs to come pick him up today. She argued the point and told me that it will not be as good as he thinks it will be there. I told he that I knew this but he refuses to believe it. So, I have spoken with the school and let them know what is going on. I am next going to look through the clothes that he will be allowed to take with him. I fully expect that he will be back here much sooner than he thinks when he realizes that that grass over there isn't greener because it is healthy but rather because it is moldy.

That's tough. But if he truly believes it will be better there, no amount of words will convince him otherwise. smiley - hug

Sometimes it's best to just let people see things for themselves. It's quite a disruption of your household, though, which you, J and A don't need. Best of luck with it all, and hang in there. smiley - smiley

That is tricky GDZ, but you are doing the right thing letting him find out for himself smiley - hug

His mother came over last night. I told her what is going on and that he thinks she's a perfect angel. She talked to him for a solid three hours explaining that she is not this being he makes her out to be and how he needs to be more respectful to me and to J. Won't go into all of the details but she said that he would have to wait until the end of school to come over. He and J had a good discussion last night too. We'll see what happens from here.

I'm still amazed that my ex is actually being a help.

I must say, that was surprising. Good for her though. Hoping for the best outcome.

In fairness I wonder how much that is her being responsible in saying that things are going to be better, or how much she doesn't want the responsibility of having C around.

Either motivation, it will be in C's best interest. Just be grateful she was cooperative.

I wonder that too Marv but, she has never gone on about something like this for 3 solid hours without changing her tune. Still, I am being cautious.
