We both took the week off to go to my mom's this week and celebrate Thanksgiving. Yes, that's right, we are going to make that poor, grey-woman cook all day for us. I'm salivating already.

Well, she's alright, if you fancy authentic Ankh Morpork style home cooking. Her dwarvish battle biscuits are to die for. Really.

Which are they better as, food or weaponry?

Yes!

In the interests of honest reporting, I played the role of the on Thanksgiving. We had roast turkey, baked dressing, mushroom-thyme gravy, baked yam, steamed broccoli, and for dessert, vegetarian mince pie.

And yes, I have extremely noticable Bride-of-Frankenstein-esque grey streaks.

Now is the time for reworking left-over turkey into new exciting dishes. Turkey curry? Turkey enchiladas?
