I suppose we could. I can do a few tricks, like the balancing act W.C. Fields used to do with a pool cue and walking on stilts. But I'm not much of a juggler, I can only cascade three and juggle two. And no, not at the same time, if you were about to ask. I once did the announcing for a juggling act over the radio, does that count?

Now, now, none of that nonsense. I have it on good authority you're an attractive young man.

No, I just have a few things in RL that need a lot more attention than I have been giving them. H2G2 is a lovely forum, and I can easily spend too much time on it. Actually, I have spent more time on it than perhaps I should have done, given my other obligations.

I'll be popping in and out. I like to write, and I love to read. I don't particularly like to waste time arguing, so I tend to steer clear of threads that have devolved into argument. But such threads are easy to avoid, and there are so many intelligent, playful Researchers around that they more than make up for the few that need to niggle and bicker.

Besides, as the Thingite Calendar-Maker, I'll have to drop by at least once a month.

Are you ever falling down on the job! No, don't worry, your professional reputation is intact, because I didn't officially join the Thingites.

I was attracted by the overall logic of the idea, because "Sodit" is somewhat similar to what I say on a Monday morning when my alarm goes off. (I also yell, "Die, die, die!" while smacking around on the night stand, trying to hit the clock's snooze button.) When I asked Dragonqueen if I could order my 2008 Thingite calendar, she offered to turn the whole works over to me. So far I've got up to next February drawn up in A25681494.
