When I get back I really ought to type up an entry on ultra distance endurance eventing while the pain is still fresh in my mind - DON'T DO IT! It hurts, a lot, every year the entry form comes through the door like a gauntlet being thrown down. Am I too old now? Have I still got what it takes? Will my body finally have it's revenge and fall to bits on me altogther?

Sore bits I've still got what it takes and I got to stay in some lovely YHA's. I'll publish pics on the ol' myspace webby.

The ginger one has done his fair share of walking. Ten tors bronze, silver and gold and such like. You're all crazy fools.

He wants to do the three peaks challenge but not this year, he's decided to do the half marathon in bristol in september instead.

I doff my hat to you sir. And laugh a little bit because it's self-inflicted, but I do have some respect for you hardcore walky types.

for the ginger, he needs a 50 mile qualifier some time this year, three peaks will be ok, or he can wait till the Cornwall and Devon 100 in 2013. Game on 'Ginger' Help yourself boys, there's no fighter escort, tally ho!

It was regarding LTS, well known to both Taff and myself, nothing sinister. He has 'issues' which can be quite demanding at times
