Jennifer yearned for travel, sought
Oriental wisdom from Jaipur to Japan.
Under Uluru's sacred slopes, she met
Richie who rode his bike from Norway to
Novgorod. They loved as fellow spirits,
Exchanged promises and wedding rings.
Young children followed. They now survive
Suburban boredom in sunny Sussex.

Just One Unsettling Remark: "Nasties Eat Your Shorts!"
Over the Tannoy in the crowded Airport's
Uncrowding nightime massive terminal
Rats and mice and other vermin'll
Nibble at your undies while you're asleep
Expect big holes when you unkeep
Your things from your cases and your bags
Suspect a rodent when your stuff's in rags.

Please feel free to ignore this or tell me to go away - no offence taken. B'El is no doubt still in shock; but I feel that there should be some token of appreciation for all the input we have had from James over the years - so I would like to suggest a new word.

Two points:
I found it extremely moving when I saw this thread again; because the first posting on my screen was made by Pedantic.
Who is going to be doing the 'scoring' or reinstating the lists? I know B'El has traditionally done it; but she must have a million other important tasks at the moment.

Scorp, the tallying was done by MMF, not by me, and since nobody ever voted there was no need for a scoreboard.
You are all invited to post an acrostic poem for the telegram word of the week, though. I#ll go and search for a link.
