How really nice of you to come, Aximili! Hayayfi has 'hit the hay' already (to put it her way), and I hope is fast asleep after a couple of stressful days with the bush burning close by. 'Hitting the hay' is what I feel like doing now, but as I don't want to borrow her expression and can't think of an equally funny one I'll stay up.
I can't make out the exact day of my landing on hootoo, so I'll continue celebrating for a week or so in order not to miss the actual 'anniversary'. I'd love to see Feisor, of course, but he/she can only be present in spirit, not in body, as he/she is unwilling to reveal his/her gender! Oh, friend Feisor, do you have to do this to me - I mean all this 'political correctness' business . No for ghostly visitors!
, Aximili, that was a bit off the topic. Goodnight and hope to see you agin!

Goodnight. I'm sure Feisor has his/her reasons for withholdin his/her gender.
I'm not sure about this, but what skin are you in? I may know a way to find out the day.

Good morning, Aximili!
Thanks for your kind offer, but I like it this way. What are dates, after all?
Yes, I know Feisor has his/her reasons. In fact, I like it this way, too. and see you again some day.

Dear Weirdo07
We have had an interesting day arranging the first part of our learning year, I have booked us in for tours of our parliament and constitutional house and in the process discovered that Western Australia was one of the first places in the world to give women the vote and the second state in Australia with only New Zealand and two states in the US getting there first. I also found out we were the first state to put a woman in both the state and federal parliament and to have a woman on the front bench of the federal cabinet Hurray for us.
I have also booked us into a hotel overnight down south so we can go to the crab festival they are having. We are trying a new tack this year each month we will study something intensively and arrange all our learning around that particular theme. So February is to be about our parliamentary processes and how our govt functions and March is to be crustaceans, reptiles and fish. This is what I love about home based learning we are free to try so many things, how is the school project coming along.
It's funny how you take for granted the language you speak I have never thought about that expression before even though I have heard it since I was a little nipper I know it means I am going to sleep but not where it originated from so once off here I am off to investigate...come to think of it you must have some quaint local saying to what are some of them
By the way that birthday cake was delicious you will have to send me a recipe and I will send you one I have for chocolate cake made with beetroot I kid you not
