So... We're being 'restructured'.
As part of the support for us through the process is a powerpoint presentation on how to create and present your CV.
So, you should observe tho following:
"Keep it brief and simple (no more then 3 pages)" (honestly. Word for word!)
(I'd just like to ask here... Even bullet pointed sentences should have a full stop at the end, shouldn't they? There's only one or two throughout the intire document.)
also:
"# Free of spelling mistakes
# Consistent format & grammar"
Hm. How do you think my new applicaion would go if I started off by sending them an original and a corrected version of their own literature?

I believe that it is the done thing to *not* have a full stop at the end of a bullet point if it is only one sentence long. I tend to have full stops if there it more than one sentence on the bullet. The key thing is to be consistent, though - either is correct as long as you do it the same way throughout.
Hmm. Rewriting your CV as part of a re-structure? That's not a good sign. And, seriously, what employer is going to read three pages of a CV? A lot only read the first paragraph. That's the most important bit - the employer wants to know both what you can bring to the job but also what you expect yourself. No point in employing someone who doesn't want the same things as you.

Ah, is that how it works. That's good to know They are inconsistent, which is exactly what they are telling us NOT to be
They are just offering advice at the moment. Basically, we get a preference exercise, do we want to take EVR, move to another area of the business or apply for a new job in this area of the business?
My job is disappearing you see. It'd be nice to get EVR, but I doubt they'll offer me enough money to be able to afford it.
