Okay, lesse here:

<<<
-Can one duel wield weapons(possibly only weapons of the same type)
I will say yes. As for how it works, I'm working on it.

-With split concentration, can one be distracted and still use one ability?

Aheheh... err.
For now, let's say that distraction weakens all psionic abilities slightly, and this weakness grows as the distraction becomes larger.

-Do seekers fade or go off on a striaght line when the castor is distracted?
The seeker would continue on it's way, still seeking and so forth. This could only be altered as the seeker is being created.

-When a seeker is channeled through a psionic's body using redirect energy, does it retain it's seeking ability (or in the case of psionics battle, does it divert to the control of the redirector)?
A seeker would lose the homing ability, becoming pure energy instead.

-Is Stun (psionic power) able to be negated by moves like center of being if the move locks up the target's mind? If it is doubled up would it do the job?
Stun could be averted by Center of Being, but it would all depend on the stats of the two combatants. If the stunner's mind score his reasonably higher than the victim's body, stun may well have some dizzying side effects, though not as powerful as the full stun.

-Which status changing moves require doubling up of Chi moves to aliviate them?
None of them do, at the moment. Most moves can be resisted, to a greater or lesser extent, but only if they can be noticed. Things like Mask, Implant Memory, and Force Forgetfulness are not easily noticed, but can be dispelled if they are. Things like stun are easily noticed, thus the target can brace for them and attempt to resist.

-Can one stack psionic moves, such as slow, when they have split concentration?
No, not quite. You could slow two seperate targets, but abilities like slow do specific things to the mind. Once they are happening, casting it again would be no more effective than having just one running.

-a quick guide to symbols like OOC as "<...>" or "" would be nice.

Generally, I find ... to be most acceptable. It's really up to you, though.

-Can one make something and sell it if they do not have the ability "Craft"?
Without Craft, you can still make items, but they may not be of very good quality, may be fairly common, or simply wear out quickly. You could, for instance, make a butter knife or some crude arrows and sell them for standard price, or you could make a sub-par sword for yourself.

-Which spells have vocal and/or physical components?
That's a work in progress, I fear.

-I have come up with the encantations for two spells so far, you are welcome to use them as the official encantations...they're on my stats sheet (Psyc)

-Is Drain Life considered a dibilitating effect that can be aliviated by moves like Force of Will?
Drain life is the caster taking strength by force. It is not a status effect as such, and can only be resisted if the target somehow gains access to extra strength.

-Do seekers automatically track the target or does the castor have to actually tell it where to go?
When a seeker is cast, the caster targets someone for it... more accurately, you don't need to say anything, as the seeker is a manifestation of your own mind. It knows what you want it to do, as clearly as you know what you want it to do.

-Does one have to know where a person is in order to cast Mask and disguise something to that person?
Yup. Not only that, you must be able to sense them in some way... not just know that they live on the corner of first and third, but you must be able to hear them, or smell them, or even just sense them.

-When it is pitch black out and one uses flash, wouldn't the effects be more powerful?
Yup. The the eye doesn't react very well to flashes when it's iris is wide open.

-Would falling from a greater height require Stance of a Feather to be double up?
It would have to be a much, much greater height. For instance, a building, even a sky-scraper, normal Stance of The Feather would take care of things. You are, after all, superhuman (or elf, or whatnot). Skydiving without a parachute, that might take a doubling.

-Does Pain Shield cause pain when chi or psi powers are used?
Nope, only affects magic users.

-Does Pain Shield prevent the target from casting spells?
No, it doesn't prevent them from casting it, but it makes it incredibly painful to do so. The larger the spell, the more intense the pain.

-Do the effects of a status ailment end after the person in the post after the ending post react to the ending post's actions and before the person makes an action of their own? i.e. If I cast Flash on post 10 and on post 11 I fling a rock at that person, can see the rock in order to dodge it?
Well, technically, the person blinded should have a post between 10 and 11. It would last until post 12, though.

-Can one use meditate if they are in a great deal of pain, as the move requires(?) the user to go into a calm, trance-like state?
Yup. The character's conditioning allows for the trance to overlap the pain.

-How would one go about teaching/learning a move? There would be a point requirement and presumably a money requirement but anything beyond that?
Fame, prestige, so forth. As for how, just make a spell/move or whatnot based on the starting spells, with costs and such, and submit it on the appropriate page.

-If a person has low wouldn't they be able to take less of that kind of damage?
Not exactly. Just because someone has a low mind, for example, a barbarian, doesn't mean that he won't be able to take quite a bit of mental punishment, as he doesn't have much use for the brain so shredding parts of it won't kill him right off. That is something I'll consider, though.

-Can a chi user use two dragon blows or dizzying palms (two hands) and still multiply it by two?
If they've got the chi to perform it, sure. But it'd be tough... I'll look into that as well.

**********IDEAS*********
-Psionic masters can detect a person's brainwaves using telepathy.
Makes sense to me, but it'd be difficult from long ranges... many thing have brainwaves, and things can disrupt them as well... strong electromagnetic fields, such as the sort given off by electromagnets, generators, and so forth, would disrupt such a sense.

-Chi masters can detect a person's inner Chi.
Chi masters would be able to sense someone's chi, and be able to "Feel" where large concentrations of it are.

-Magic Adepts can detect a person's soul.
Magic adepts would most likely be able to sense magic use, to a very fine degree, over great distances... soul would probably be left up to clerics and the like.

-If the a person has less than 5 a catagory they are invisible to those searchers when the searcher is using their powers to find them...this invisibility decreases in proportion to the points in this catagory.
0-5=invisible
6-10=can easily be masked by a small animal or something of the sorts
11-15=can be masked in a fair sized croud of people(40+)
16-20=masked by a large croud(80+)
21-25=masked by a fair sized crowd with many people who are high on that scale(croud of 40+ half of which are high on that scale)
25+=not able to mask

I think that a low total wouldn't mask, but I agree that a high total would stand out. Some people may well be felt for a long distance, like a beacon on a hilltop. I'll look into the detection idea... might have to make it a feat.

My largest problem at the moment is that I've forgotten the username and password for the Arbiter account. smiley - erm So, I may have to copy all this down and put it into new articles.

Mystrunner you've answered ALOT (not exaggerating) of questions! smiley - biggrin

I think that your biggest problem is that you don't have enough active arbiters to be answering questions for you...

True, that and that I never actually finished this... and perhaps we've not enough people creating characters/quests to go with this.
