h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Ok, so I've got a photo-thing-do up. It's kinda fun actually and not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be.

Anyway, it started out coz Roy mentioned the water in Durbs (for those who don't know, the whole planet, sun and moon lining up thing, combined with the hurricane, have really messed the weather systems up over here). Anyway, so Durban has never been a whirlwind area, but they have suddenly started springing up all over the place and causing havoc.
Well my landlady was panicking coz our neighbour's roof had landed in our driveway and tiles from her roof had gone flying off and trees were falling all over and there wasn't much anyone could do about it anyway, so she called Prov to go over and check my place out (which was perfectly fine thank goodness), so Provi took some pics to show me of the road to my house after that big storm... Anyway, I've now put them onto my Yahoo Photos so that you guys can see them too.

Then I decided to show off a bit and put in the photos from my camera of the sunset from my deck simply because it is so beautiful!

And then I got a bit carried away and added some completely arbitrary stuff, which includes a self-portrait of myself (I am a very good, yet still undiscovered, artist - orders of life-size prints of my portrait are welcome); an old photo of Provi from back in the day when she was still a sweet little girl with Asha, her equally gorgeous dog; Felix my cat who has made a name for himself as 'the fireman'; and jellyfish - don't ask!

No, no. a chip butty is made by putting english potato ships inbetween 2 slices of well buttered bread, they taste wonderous.

You know, we put our chips on rolls and call it a chip roll. We like using really obvious names like that here - that way we don't have to explain it to people.
