Isn't the Internet a fabulous space?
I mean there are just so many things to click at. Any they might lead you just about anywhere, even south. From flatmates to cupboards and on to pictures that make one laugh. Jeez, we had fun.
And then suddenly...

I stopped surfing when I found h2g2!


There's no other place I want to go, this place is home to me now.
My friends are here...and I make new ones all the time!

Surfing the net? I rarely do that nowadays. Usually just to get updates for my virus protection programme and using google to find some info needed in relation to h2g2. All the rest of the time is spend here... for pretty much the reasons you stated.

Yeah, I'm ok. Thanks for asking, though. It happened years ago and it took me years to get over it. I prevailed and the process gave me time to think about myself and what I want in life. I grew. It shaped me, a kartharsis. I am stronger now. What more can you ask of a crisis?
(doesn't mean that I *want* to go through it again....)

They say {whoever *they* are} that a mistake is not a mistake if you learn from it.
Chalk it up to experience.
We have to make choices all the time, how do we know something is the right or wrong choice?
Every choice we make has to be the right choice, because we can't go back and choose again...
You have to live with what you've got and make the best of it.
Not a lot of choice, really.
I try to find a balance, and I hope I've got it right.
