Usually I feel myself being an outsider. But I have seen most of the stuff you mentioned above. Not that I liked them all, though.

So long as you don't say anything nasty about Buffy we should be okay. As everyone knows Buffy is the best programme ever

Oh, I forgot to mention that I happen to like South Park.
Here's what's wrong.
HonestIago Posted Feb 8, 2004
South Park was funny but it grew a little lame. I have a Kenny hanging from my ceiling as we speak

I was given some videos of the first two seasons of the Sopranos and there were some other series I saw episodes of here and there (Frasier, AbFAb) that I totally loved!
Spanish television is crap. And really, you cannot watch the Simpsons dubbed into Spanish.

Hey you t*****rs. STOP using this journal; for your inanities. IVAN doesn't need this. Either give him your support or go somewhere else!!!!!

In fact, Hati and I were just passing some time eating and drinking and chatting as friends while Ivan got some much needed rest and sleep. I'm sure he would not begrudge us having a chat in his space while he sleeps.

In fact, I think Ivan would be pleased that Hati and I found some common ground here based on us both being friends of Ivan, though we hadn't me before now. And Iago and I had met before but hadn't realized we both were also friends of Ivan.
It's all related. Even just chatting about TV shows. Anyhow, Ivan did tell me to help myself to the wine on the sideboard. (hic)

Hi Ivan. Just dropped by to offer my moral support, since I can't do anything more practical at this distance.
And to agree with Iago that if you can't control your circumstances, you still have a say in how you respond to them.
Hope things work out ok.
Any of that left, az?

I guess I have actually met you before, Az. I had some problem with Spanish and I guess it was Sunny who said you could help. Or something like that.
Here's what's wrong.
azahar Posted Feb 8, 2004
Hati,
Yes, and I also recognized you from the Atelier, but I'm quite new there. I remember the Spanish thing with sunny - was it you who had the problem about translating something for that bar?
What I meant about us not meeting before is that we have not really chatted personally before. Iago has shown up on my personal page (hi Iago!) and Noggin is one of my oldest hootoo pals.
Anyhow, I am quite sure that Ivan doesn't mind us drinking his and eating his and having a chat while he sleeps. He knows we'll be here when he gets up. And that we've been thinking about him, even while talking about tv programmes and such.
Just don't offer him any rollmops!

Yeah, that was me with the bar. That took place in my journal, btw.
Taking over other peoples journal is a lovely habit. I guess Ivan wouldn't mind. We can leave a bit of for him.
At least I don't mind people chatting at my place, it's much better than having the place deserted.

Usually when I first get up in the morning Ivan is talking about watering his garden - have no idea what the time difference is between Australia and Spain.
Have just found another bottle of - would you like some? Where's Noggin?

Noggin the Nog Posted Feb 8, 2004
Well it's 20.25 here, so its 6.25 in Oz, I think. Much too early to be watering the garden. Or anything else for that matter.
Did I hear someone type ?
