*cuddles Charlie* Hmmm... but... it's all Futurama-like and alphabet-like... and if I bothered learning the alphabet then I would be able to read a few things in the background or something in the show which I have been planning to put into a translator thingy, but have never bothered... I don't really wanna bother with that, learning the alphabet would be easier.

I think that theres a translater for one of the alien languages on one of the DVDs, but I'm not sure whether it's for alphabet 1,2 or 3. And I really can't be bothered to find out.

It's a translation for the first one. Although it doesn't have the numbers or the punctuation. I didn't know there was a third one... are you sure you're not making that bit up?

I heard them say on one of the commentaries that they made a really hard to despher language for the last series because some people had managed to crack the second language. I could be wrong.

Nah, I have listened to all the commentries soooo many times, and I would remember if they said something like that... There were just the two.

Which episode do you think they mentioned it in...? I still really don't think they did. If you remember which episode you think it is in, or find a site confirming what you're saying, please tell me because I am curious now.

But they only mentioned the second alien alphabet then and they were saying how it was not a simple replacement like the old one, and it was a mathematical thing where each letter was the sum of all the letter which had already appeared in the word, plus itself mod 26... though that confuses me because what I understood that to mean, it would mean that when it says "yummy tummy" in the first and second alien alphabets, the second m in each of those words would have the same symbol as the u, but that's not true... so I am confused and am at a loss as to how it works now. But the point is, I am pretty sure that there are just the two.
