Or "Some Things That Make Me Happy" These are some of my favorite things that I made myself.
I learned to knit so I could knit a poncho. This is the poncho I knit:

It is on backwards.
Slippers I made. I've since shaved them down so they aren't quite so furry except for the rims. I am happy every time I slip them on.

My own knitting skills stop at a scarf so anything that isn't rectangular seems very clever knitting to me.
Wouldn't knitted slippers wear in holes very quickly?

The slippers are felted so they are much thicker than say, socks. And the sole is a double layer felted.

So you are also skilled at attaching felt soles to slippers not just the knitting.
It must be good to be able to make your own, because one thing that really annoys me is when I have a nice pair of shoes or slippers and then they wear out. When I try and buy new ones they don't make ones like that any more and the new ones are not as nice.
This is inevitable with old age though, going round muttering about things ain't what they used to be in the good old days.
When yours wear out you can make some more which are just as you like them and still be happy.
