Looks about the same as the old space except it says I'm "shelbing" rather than my preferred "hellboundforjoy". Oh well. Shelbing is an alter I use more than Hbfj these days anyway. I can be found on Facebook under "shelbing" if anyone's interested.

I'm glad the Guide is getting its own space. I hope things go smoothly with the move. I seem to have transferred OK except for the name thing. Anyone else here?

Hellbound! I was wondering who you were You can change your screen name by going to Settings and changing it here (not the login name). Your account has probably reset to its login name. Or the system has done something weird. Both have been known to happen.

Hi Kea! I tried both Preferences and Settings and tho the settings/preferences panel says "hellboundforjoy", when I save it it remains "shelbing". Not a big deal. I'm Shelbing many places anyway. But possibly confusing to people here who are used to Hellbound.

Interesting. I've just been though this with ~jwf~, with my guru hat on. It may change when you restart your computer, logout and log back in again. If it doesn't I wouldn't mind reporting it as a bug.

I'll try that. I see there's a thread about screen names from the editors. I'll read that when I get a chance.

I made a bug report but realized it was user error. I had the names switched in my settings. Sometimes it still says "shelbing" tho. We'll see what it says for this post!

I never really left, but once the announcement was made about the three-way bid being won, I decided I wanted to be more involved. I've met some of my nicest friends here.

I have mixed feelings though cause I was having such a rough time 7-8 years ago when I was more involved. No fault of Hootoo, but it just reminds me. I can't believe it's been that long.

JEllen doesn't get on hootoo much any more, either. I'm going to try to encourage a change to that.

It seems like a friendlier place without the Beeb censors looking over our shoulders. That made me nervous the few times I visited during the Big Brother era.
