Jerms - a Brief flicker and then gone again. Started conversation Sep 10, 2004
Dropped off my essay; good thing I gave myself an extra hour spare because I just spent twenty minutes trying to find the SEd office... I'm so amused.
Writing out the cover sheet I managed to scribble my name so badly it looks like I spelt it wrong, and so I wrote over it again to make it clearer, and of course that just made it WORSE, so I gave up and posted in the assignment box. And THEN noticed the notice which said "Please fold your assignments lengthways..."
I wonder what manner of moron they'll think I am...
And THEN I almost walked into a glass door on the way out... I'm glad that nobody was watching, but I'm vaguely amused that the smiley would have been appropriate...
Still, my essay's handed in... I can forget about it... I'm amused... and I'm going to Loretta's show tonight. Still hoping that's a good idea. I'll let you all know when I find out.
Well THAT was embarrasing...

I'm sure the uni will understand that a) your brain is after the assignment and possibly b) you're already in weekend mode and have turned your brain off...
Oh, and for tonight !!

Thanks!
Oh yeah, it's friday...
...fridays are always interesting, but they tend to leave my brain feeling like a lump of jellied swampweed... This semester I have a two hour lecture (starting at 9am! ) on cognition and neurophysiology, directly followed by a two hour lecture on advanced programming algorithms... and if I escape that fast enough, then I have to go BACK to catch the last part of the tutorial for the cognition paper again; it's a real excercise in concentration to go from 'visual imagery techniques', to 'compression precalculation algorithm methodologies', and back to 'why cartoons can't be blamed for a rise in violent offending'...
Well THAT was embarrasing...

Wow, I think my brain just disintegrated into dust...just from reading what you have to do
I'm not good at understanding things...if I was to do anything wiht computers it would be more a hardware thing than a software thing...not that I know anything about the hardware...but it would probably make more sense to me than the alternative

Hardware's SO much harder!
My doppelganger works for a company which designs hardware ( http://www.endace.com/ ), and he keeps trying to tell me various ingenious solutions he's come up with for a particular problem; I get SO lost...
Well THAT was embarrasing...

I don't imagine I could *create* hardware...maybe fix it...
...my boy is a software type...his brother is a hardware type (not like me, they've both studied and worked in those fields )...I'm waiting until they combine their powers and create a computer that can sing and dance...
...well, I suppose there's always the dream, right ?

"...a computer that can sing and dance..." Computers can already sing... and dance... um. But not both at once, I think. What would be the point of a singing, dancing computer? It'd be like that bloody singing frog again... crashing every time you went to show anyone...
Well THAT was embarrasing...
tanzen Posted Sep 10, 2004
I want one that can sing *and* dance...just for those days I'm home by myself...we can have little routines....

If /that's/ what you're after, then you're probably better off hiring an escort.
Cheaper, can probably sing and dance better, and less likely to lead to annoyance when it goes down on you...
Well THAT was embarrasing...

That poor boy...he would head back to work, feeling more dirty and violated then ever...
...in weeks to come...memories will resurface in dreams...memories of being dressed up...and made to dance...and sing...
