Well since I dunno what profound means and have little idea (but some) of what Prophetic means I think I'll just nod and say yes.

Profound = deep. Deep like in thought, not deep like the ocean.
Prophetic = like a prophet. Foretelling of events and so on.
I just like the fact it sounds like 'pathetic'.

Penetrating beyond what is superficial or obvious: eg a profound insight.
Prophetic:
Foretelling events as if by divine inspiration: eg casual words that proved prophetic.

Ah. Profound is my favourite of the two. 'Coz with prophetic, you always get I told you so at the end.
