Imagine my surprise, when I looked at the glossary of terms, that the 'SWEAT' index is an actual mathmatical formula. Very interesting!

my favorite formula is W=MAD...work = mass*acceleration*distance...or...work makes people mad......although that's not a meteorological formula...that's on of the few areas of meteorology I'm nigh clueless on...

haha...haven't we all...and alternatively you could combine the formula with the acronym MAD and get Work=Mutually Assured Destruction...thusly...work must be a weapon of mass destruction...

anywho...yea...a tropical wave...as of the last update...there's currently four of em floating around the atlantic basin...one of them is about 250 miles east of the Leeward islands...and that's the only one that seems to have any potential for development...at least in the near future...
