Starship Titanic is the best computer game ever, so there!
(It mentions HHGTTG on the back of the box, but not Dirk Gently. Could this possibly be because np-one cares about Dirk Gently?)

Starship probably mentions the Hitch Hikers becuase the Hitch Hikers mentions Starship. The Starship Titanic first appeared in the book Life, The Universe and Everything (I think that's the one with the Kircket robots).
It is a superb game though. Oh, and VERY difficult.

whenever you mention the Hitch-Hikers' Guide to the Galaxy in Starship Titanic, it either says "Nobody likes a smartass" or "You've got your Universes mixed up". I can't even say "Don't panic, everything's under control" or "this ship's a total disaster area" without ridicule. The BellBot gets a really spooky feeling in his motherboard whenever the name Douglas Adams is mentioned. DNA, you're getting PARANOID!
