Now I know that's not true. There's not enough room in any of our cupboards for you to hide in.

Cupboards?! when I was a lad we used to dream of having a cupboard, all we had were tesco carrier bags, with holes in the bottom, and a cardboard box which was wet and dirty, luxary, kids of today, they don't know they're born!

I know I was born. I don't remember it happening, but I'm sure it happened. It must have happened....I might ring my mom and check

I've just got off the phone and am in slight shock. I asked whether she gave birth to me and she paused for a few moments, then asked if my real mother had been in touch with me
I'm adopted!
My real mother and father were vikings, apparently.

I've still got my Amiga 1200 sitting on the desk (6MB RAM, 14Mhz 68020 Processor, largely-f**ked 320MB Hard Disk). It needs a clean. Still gets used occasionally when a game requires a "proper" joystick and not a joypad which is the only choice I have for emulated play. Oh, and if I don't want to have to play games on the horrible flatscreen display.

Ooh, Worms.

Baconlefeets Posted Aug 25, 2005
I had a programme on the Amiga where you picked a man or womans face shape, then picked eyes, mouths, noses, eyebrows etc.
I used to spend ages on that

If you've got worms you should probably seek medical attention.

I remember when that funny bloke Sinclair brought out his ZX-80. A computer for under £100. It had a 1k memory on it. You paid out almost as much again for the memory upgrade... and you needed your own casette player for storage.
I remember someone had actually written a game that worked in 1k! It was like a ski run using \ \ | | or / / to show the edges of the run and you had to keep your figure * in between the lines using Z or X otherwise it beeped and you had to start again. Fantastic!
Photo of game in action - me well in control.

D'oh! Don't you just hate it when they suppress extra spaces? It looked really cool until I posted it.
