h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Seeing as the "What's just happened?" conversation in askh2g2/Misc Chat has degenerated into horoscopes, fights and postings from the speaking clock, I'm starting a new one. But it's my journal, so these are my rules:

Rule 1: No posting the time, even if it's just turned 25 o'clock BST (or GMT). We all have clocks and most of us can tell the time.

Rule 2: No posting "Nothing much." If nothing has just happened, don't post to "What's just happened?"

Rule 3: No spamming. If your wife takes the dog for a walk at the same time every day, you really don't need to post it every day. It's very dull.

Rule 4: Try and keep it interesting. If you've just downed a pint of absinthe in one, I'm interested. If you've just had a sip of tea, I'm not.

Rule 5: No copying and pasting huge swathes of text from other sites. If you find an interesting site, post the URL and we'll go and look at it.

Rule 6: There is NO rule 6.

I just sent off a set of text messages and recieved replies, putting in bids, in terms of the number of drinks (namely JD) that a feel of Seriphs charities would be worth at the summer meet....

I've just appreciated how nice a double Plym and Tonic is when you get it through a Plymouth Gin optic you've had set up in your room rather than messing about with pouring the gin directly out of the bottle. The latter risks spillage and overmeasures, ruining the whole experience.

Just thought about the possibility of breaking rule 9.

I've just thought that EV needs to find something more productive to do with his Saturday nights.

We've just been out for a walk. Just as I thought David Bowie was getting his bags packed ready to leave, the wind aggravates my bloody ear into hurting like hell again

I just re-started my sock picking habit.

Tescos Strawberry Cheesecake is happening now...It aint even completely defrosted.Thats how 'street' I am.

Just raised my right hand and agreed to abide by all the rules (except the second rule nine)

Just had another look at rule 4 and panicked *slurp*

Just realised how very badly I'd like an entire strawberry trifle, even though Tesco has been shut for over three hours.

I started watching something on Paramount.

Went to the kitchen and microwaved a muffin.

Went back to living room and ate it.

Picked sock.

Went back to kitchen for some sprite.

Ive checked and that didn't contraveve any of the rules* looks worried* its a terrible responsibility.

Thought "I've only been up twelve hours"

I've already broken Rule 9 (The revised rule)

I've just put cream on yet more insect bites that I'm havingallergic reactions to. This is only interesting because they are really inconveniently placed considering I'm going to a 'party' tonight.

I ha a really bad night Went to bed about 2 ish, then woke up a 3 wide awake Abut ten mintes later I heard the front door being opened, heard some stumbling around and was put in a bad mood Spent the next half an hour overusing swear words, then played on the playstation til 7.42, when I finally started to feel a bit tired again

But at least I got a few levels completed.

Just wondered what the time is.

Actually, just wondered if it was safe to unsubscribe from the other What's Just Happened thread...
