The BBC is doing another of those exciting "Test The Nation" things. This time the point is to test your knowledge of the English language - spelling, grammar, punctuation and all that kind of stuff.
That's what makes the use of the phrase "Don't miss part two of Know Your English Test are on BBC ONE after the news" on http://www.bbc.co.uk/testthenation/ so funny.
My English are very well thanks you.

I only got 40/70 Actually scrub the Only about 2/5ths of the questions had anything to do with speeling, grandma and punturation!
The rest were about listening observation, knowing colloquial phrases 'n txt mssges'.
Well what a shame that those rounds dropped my scores!!
My English are very well thanks you.
I'm not really here Posted Oct 9, 2005
I couldn't be bothered to get past the first audio thing. With cartoons blaring out of the next room it's difficult, and I haven't got the patience to listen to stuff online anyway.
And I don't want to be tested on stupid phrases that people say on tv.
My English are very well thanks you.
Baron Grim Posted Oct 11, 2005
50/70... Match the national average... not bad for a "sceptic tank" who couldn't clearly hear ANY of the audio thingies.
My English are very well thanks you.
