Actually, a curious thing happened to me yesterday - I was frittering my bank balance away on the tea shop across the road, buying flavoured teas, when the woman behind the cash desk gave me a nice tip to serve them - with alcohol as a punch

Although what she said did throw me a bit, 'Well - they're really nice with rum - white rum's really nice, and of course, the younger people like vodka...'

And there was me thinking I looked my age group

I'm glad someone else is frittering their money away - I did the same the other day. I was feeling a little low, slightly fractious and exceptionally grumpy, so I took myself off shopping. So I went to the shops and I bought:

Two pairs of shoes
A pill box
A Belgian Waffle with maple syrup
Sassafras for Gumbo
Two leather bracelets
Batteries


And do you know what I felt tonnes better

Retail therapy - something I may indulge in post-exams

And it does lift the spirits - I do wholeheartedly agree

ah frittering yes.
wish I could do that - unfortunately must do sensible shopping right now, new courses *whimper*

I'm off to Brighton this evening and tomorrow, visiting my grandmama Saturday (she is positively *ancient*) and then party time tomorrow night in London - what y'all doing?

*envious* I haven't been to brighton in such ages, I really wanna visit the bead shop!

going out for a curry tomorrow, with a whole load of researchers, should be a great laugh
