I think you'll be all right Lil just so long as you don't get between Mrs B and the walls. Or the floor. Or any of the decorations. Or the bathroom. Or that cluster of cables over there

The fridge?
Ah ... some parts of your PS might have been moved earlier in the day.

Tiramisuey contents were removed and thoughtfully given away.
The part which was once your fridge may have been removed. Purely for safekeeping, you understand.
The contents had to be removed for the unplugging but they're not far away.

>> but I didn't want anyone complaining I'd redecorated without warning.<<
Does that mean we can now complain WITH warning?
(never one to miss out on a good moan ).
Just make sure you put a copy somewhere , as your page is one of the places I use when I need to find somewhere and can't be bothered looking elsewhere.
(that wasn't really a proper complaint though was it )
Is it just me, or is that line of teacups on a gentle slope?

I was trying to be subtle and understated
But it probably just turned out as enigmatic
Yes - resigned from the Subs and the Scouts.
So redesigning the PS is probably going to involve not very much more than swapping a couple of 'am's for 'was'es. If I can keep it to that sort of effort level, that'd be great!
(As long as we can hold Mrs B back of course... and some pictures would be nice, maybe.)
Coffee *schlurp* Thankyou - I slept... hardly at all
Could have been the cheese...
But in spite of feeling knackered this morning, otherwise I feel entirely all right. So the decision was the right one I think.
Resignations can often turn in to pretexts for having a big moan about the EG (whither the Scouts of yesteryear? etc.) and I didn't really feel like it, basically. I said it was largely about RL commitments and that's true. Largely
Actually, I don't feel bad about leaving the Scouts at all. The really big helpers-out in PR do tend to be Scouts, naturally enough, but they don't have to be.
Whereas I will miss subbing, largely because I've been doing it longer and... well, I think it's underrated and underappreciated (I don't mean in terms of Subs not getting enough chocolates or anything, though obviously that would be nice *ahem* would have been nice ), but in terms of it being a largely silent aspect of the process that tends to get taken for granted. As Subs on this thread will know, I have had my beefs recently.
But I know people's enthusiasm for the EG waxes and wanes. Mine's waned... but I think that's a point at which to stand back and get out of the way of the people who still do have the passion or are only just discovering it, rather than saying it's all going to hell in a handcart.
Shutting up then...
(And the purple one still leaves me with pretty full hands. I do like purple.)
