It's not just in astrology Ace, it's mysticism and the occult in general. There is a world wide spiritual awakening to all things spooky going on at the moment!

True, there does seem to be a lot more about the occult in the media at the moment.
Another thunderstorm, that's two in one day!

Have you never noticed how many of the researchers here either read tarot cards, or cast runes, interpret dreams, tell fortunes or something of the same ilk? People are reading Nostradamus again, there are shops springing up all over the country that sell occult paraphinalia. The goth movement among the young is legion at present, all this was virtually unheard of five years ago.

Quite a few actually. The goth movement certainly is gathering strength, though some I think have become too commercial.

Yes, my mother was a seamstress and seemed to make everyone's clothes when I was little. She made my cousin's wedding dress that was featured in a Bridal magazine once. She was very talented me old ma!

Not too good at it myself, I made my costume for Sherwood Forest but that was about the hardest clothing I made.

Oh, it's a tradition of the rambling club I belong to. Every year we walk round Sherwood forest dressed as characters out of Robin Hood.

No (well not the tights, I had the hat). Pictures all went up on the group's website. I set one of them as my wallpaper because it still makes me laugh.

If you go to the 'committee' section, you'll find me under publicity officer. Then if you go to 'photos' and then 'Sherwood forest' you should be able to pick me out. It's the photo with all of us together, 'bad guys' in front and the rest of us behind that I like.

Really enjoyed looking through those! What a mad lot you are. Particularly enjoyed the pic of a 'knight' walking down a street in Nottingham, I presume.
Some of the scenery there is truly breathtaking isn't it. You are very lucky to be able to spend so much time in such wonderful surroundings, all I ever get to see is concrete!
