I'm here now. We got in at about 12:30 in the afternoon and we've had lunch and now we're just relaxing around the hotel room. It's not warm enough to be at the outdoor pool.

There's a Disneyland in Paris?

Yes, there's one in Paris. There's one in Tokyo too. It, the Tokyo one, was seen in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II when Rodan flew over The Magic Kingdom.

Well I only saw the first Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, so I don't know.

Now I'm not saying that the later Showa Godzilla movies were bad, but they were way too silly and camp. The Heisei one's are mostly better and G vs MG II introduces the non stupid looking 'baby', aka Godzilla Jr.
However nothing compares to the awesome awesomeness of the Millennium series, especially Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla Final Wars, which, for some strange reason, brings Minilla back and ignores Baby.

Well, except for the 1954 original Gojira, that is, as that's a masterpiece on a par with Lang's Metropolis.

Hah, no I've not seen it, I'm afraid to as the producer of the first 22 Godzilla movies, Tomoyuki Tanaka, wasn't involved in making it as he was in the hospital at the time. But when he did get to see it allegedly told the director of the film,Yoshimitsu Banno, that he, Banno, had ruined the Godzilla series and that he would never direct at Toho again.

Disney, Godzilla...where to next? King Kong?

They already did that with the third godzilla movie.

Godzilla vs. King Kong was terrible. Besides, King Kong was clearly no match for Godzilla, and therefore he should have lost.

Anyway, I don't know what's wrong with the Smog Monster. I think it's good.

They kind of reused it with Godzulla Vs Destroyah, only Destroyah was created by the Oxygen Destroyer used in Gojira.
