Round and round she goes, where she stops nobody knows!

I don't think I've ever heard creationism taught in science classes. It's always only been evolution.

Never could get my head round evolution. If we evolved from monkeys, how come equally sentient species haven't evolved from birds, fish, etc? Know what I mean?

Know, perhaps because I don't know what sentient means.

We had creationism taught to us because my friend the teenage christian wanted TWO lessons to get his doctrines throught to us and convert us to the bright side, rather than just RE, which is what everyone else had.

Having perception or conciousness.

I think that's what applies here.

Well it depends which episode you're watching and which serries.... but generally I would say something that shows that it thinks for itself, fears death, wants to reproduce...things like that.
The Stargate definition is much easier, its just something that fears death.

Type in English to Latin translator and then your phrase. Or something along those lines. You might have to sieve a bit but its worth it if you find a good one.
