Back to Florida Sailor - Summertime...'s Personal Space

In 'our' newbee time you created an account, then you had to create a PS and only after that an ACE could give you a greeting.
How about your University Project about 'Tall Ships'? I never had the courage to take it on. It was in your second month you already showed your interest in the project, any progress? You could include the bells

Florida Sailor All is well with the world Posted Jul 28, 2015
I am sure I was registered here a few weeks earlier, but I decided a few years ago to date my birthday from the Ace's welcome as it is easily referenced. At my age I don't worry about an exact date.
I fully attend to proceed with the 'Tall Ship' project, I have just had a few distractions the last two months, or so. Have you read my university page at A87849896 ? I intend to focus on the actual sailing of a ship, as a full nautical explanation could require a thousand or more pages.
I have been following your escape pods thread and will try to post there also.
I read that you are using English as a second language (and do it very well). You remind me of the time I spent an afternoon sailing on a Canadian cutter. As most of the crew were the captain's family I volunteered to take on the foredeck duties so they could all remain together in the cockpit.
Actually the boat was from Quebec. When the granddaughter asked if she could steer, all sailing orders switched to French. Handling sail when you have no idea which way the boat is going to turn is an interesting challenge.

Traveller in Time controlling the jib
"Well indeed my main task aboard has always been controlling the jib and the provisions and keep up with the square riggers
I will attend your contributions and comment if I feel required be it from the fore deck
I have been surfing with a french girl one day, do not tell me about the french zjuit buoiy as she was referring to the boom. "
