I am lying almost flat in bed - most comfortable position right now - and getting in an extra dose of social life by rambling and ranting all over the internet. I feel quite well, if more than a little drunk (painkillers, anaesthetic hang-over. Not wine. I'm not allowed wine for DAYS). It's weird. I do feel rather uninhibited and noisy. Why this should go hand in hand with Unwellness and Discomfort I don't know.
Or, rather, it goes hand-in-hand with the weird hinterland between Unwellness and Discomfort (too much of either to do anything) and Fine (in which one can actually get up and do stuff). I have to stay in bed. Standing up is painful and makes me woozy. My husband is working from home today so he can make me tea and put up with my fussbiscuitery.
Anyway, I was expecting to feel a lot worse, so I am quite pleased.
Just no coughing or sneezing. Mustn't do that. OW.

I don't like the sound of opening you up, taking a peek, doing nothing then closing you up again. You need some permanent relief.
