Well it is something I have wanted to do for years, keep tropical fish and this weekend I have finally got around to buying a fish tank and setting it up.
As it is I only have a couple of "emporers new clothes fish" in there at the moment but over the week I will stock it up a bit.

Excellent!
I'm considering getting a hampster for the kids but not sure yet. I'm not that keen on animals myself.

Hampster eh?
You realise that regular trauma for the kids when they keep dying? Either tyhat or hasty trips to the pet shop so they dont know .

Surely one of the main points of having pets as a kid is that you learn about death so it's easier to cope with when a member of your family has to leave the party?

Sounds good.
A couple of my mates killed one of their girlfriends Chinchillas when looking after the house by blowing smoke from the bong into its cage.

Going to see the Cirque De Soleil (Not sure about spelling) with Hoo tonight. I've never seen them before and it sounds good. And then spending the rest of the weekend with him and no kids.
No doubt we'll et up to no good.
Hopefully.
Hope you feel better soon.

Well one of my fish died yesterday possibly due to insufficient oxygen levels so I have got a new air pump hopefully this should sort the problem out.

Have you got a bottom-feeding fish like a catfish or something, to eat the stuff that grows on the gravel and keep it clean?

Not yet, however I think I might buy a Pleco tommorrow if my water is still ok. The shop said they want to do a nitrogen test before they sell me anymore fish.
