Finding it harder and harder to fit hootoo in....

Well I have been F/T at work for about 4 or 5 months now and I must say I am finding it harder and harder to actually fit h2g2 in.
I keep finding that there is often whole days or more that go by without me checking and consequntly I become intimidated by the lengths of the backlogs and the number of new threads...
Not sure if this is a cyclical growing tired of h2g2, I know a lot of old timers say that after 2-3 years you start getting a bit put off, or if it is just becuase I am soooo busy at the moment.

I'm going through a similar thing myself, mate. And I think it's a combination of being busy and being a bit jaded about h2g2. I hesitate to use the words 'Wolfden effect' but it doesn't help.

heh heh.
I think it is probably natural to get a bit bored of it at least for a while from time to time. There is zero chance of me giving up hooto. I just probably wont spend quite so much time here.
The thing is I am stupidly busy at work at the moment. THere are going to be job losses amongst the management and as you can imagine that has an effect on our grade, so as a rep I have been rushed off my feet.
I might unsubscribe from "The Forum" and just check periodically to see what threads "pique" my interest. That way I might not be quite so inundated with new threads all the time.
I must confess though I have missed most of the "foxie" stuff, allthough I thought Master B's post to get himself pre-modded was hilarious!
What do you think of the appointment of Pullis BTW?

Was well against it (I heard it was a chairman stitch-up, and no-one else was ever seriously considered) but he's winning me over.
A lot like Sturrock to be honest. We won't play great football, but we'll be well-organised, hard to beat, and we should stay up.

Fair one, my tohughts are that insofar as the ceiling of the boards ambition is championship survival (which seems to be the case to me) then you might as well go for a manager who has a track record at this level on a budget. Pullis seems to hit the right buttons.
Mayby once "phase 2" is done (yeah right) and the lcub has a bit more readies to spend we might think about getting a manager with a view to getting promoted, but for my money that will be 3-4 years into the future minimum.
I said last season that 21th on goal difference owuld be a success for Argyle, and to be honest I haven't really upscaled my ambitions this season, till the staduim is ready survival must be the key, what is the point in "phase 2" if we are back in league one?

Well I have un-subbed form a load of threads I wasnt interested in and that has seemingly made my PS a little less daunting.
Plus possibly my current fave thread (the Harry Potter spolier one) is re-energised so that is helping.

So, so...
I still have to say that my enthusiasim for hootoo is not what it once was.
This copmbined with my PC at home being out of action and a situation that means I aint mad keen on the communal areas of my house (where the other PC is) means it is increasingly hard to keep up with what goes on here.
But generally things are ok. How about you?
