Mr. Carrot

Hehe, precisely. They're still a bit scary, though.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 102

Tacysa

They worry me.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 103

Mr. Carrot

As they should, considering where you live.

And that's it, I suppose...

I'd start singing patriotic songs and waving flags, but I'm afraid I burned them all. Hey, wait, isn't that illegal....?

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 105

Mr. Carrot

It might be, but it shouldn't.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 106

darakat - Now with pockets!

Indeed it is. I suppose.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 107

Nah, it's not illegal. Every republican president in the history of the United States has tried to make it illegal, but it hasn't become law. It's just like burning a cross in someone's front yard; there are a million charges they can bring against you when you do it that have nothing to do with the actual action.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 108

darakat - Now with pockets!

Arson is what they do here.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 109

Tacysa

I've never tried it. I prefer to keep the flag and throw it back at every patriot who tries to tell me how grateful I should be to live in a wonderful country. To an extent they're right, but I'm a belligerent teenager, right?

And that's it, I suppose...

I usually state that I am burning the flag to show the fact I believe that the country I was burn in no longer exists thanks to the government.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 111

Tacysa

Hmm, at least you can say that your country existed at one point.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 112

Mr. Carrot

The odd thing is that I think it's illegal over here. A famous Norwegian comedian did it live when the US waged war on Iraq, and I think he got quite a hefty fine for it. They say that Norway is the last communist state, and in a sense, they might be right.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 113

Tacysa

Just as a correction: the United States is not at war with Iraq. Congress never declared war and the president can't do it himself. We haven't been in a war since WWII. Does this sound like insanity to you?

Well, if the communism works, why the heck not use it?

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 114

Mr. Carrot

Oh, but of course, it's only a "limited millitary action". What's the difference anyway? It was an invasion of another country, and an armed conflict, therefore, it was a war. The declaration is unimportant.

Because it's authoritarian.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 115

Tacysa

Nope, they're called 'police actions' here. I think America should just go home.

All government is; it's unavoidable.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 116

darakat - Now with pockets!

Todays police action is arts and craft!

Sorry.

If you don't have a goverement...

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 117

Mr. Carrot

What on earth has a millitary occupation got to do with the POLICE???

Just had to, I suppose.

Then you have anarchy, which leads to troubles, which leads to feudalism, which might in turn lead to a revolution and democracy. All government is authoritarian, but there are degrees. Liberalists sacrifice equality to get freedom. Socialists sacrifice liberty to attain equality. It's a well known fact.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 118

Tacysa

That's what it's called. Besides, there are police in the military. We're policing everyone and causing global hate and discontent.

*shrugs*

Screw it all, why don't we just eliminate a lot of people and have decency? Oh, I forgot, that's a hell of a lot to ask from people.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 119

darakat - Now with pockets!

and which people do you eliminate? Its genocide.

And that's it, I suppose...

Post 120

Tacysa

You're right. Genocide is so unoriginal.
