It's tedious, isn't it? Nobody ever bothers with reading it. Except perhaps some of my friends, when they've got nothing to do...
And that's it, I suppose...

Like... well me. Its nice to know that when your bored there is always h2g2.
And that's it, I suppose...
Mr. Carrot Posted May 3, 2004
Usually, when I'm bored, I either go for H2G2, or violent computer games.
And that's it, I suppose...

Which is endlessly amusing since you call yourself a pacifist. I either hit the net or go outside. I've been trying to leash train this little Cavalier bitch I'm being paid to train with pretty horrid results. As soon as you slide a show lead on her, she goes limp. I've gotten where she'll walk a foot on it, but that only happens for three minutes a day. The little boy, however, works wonderfully on lead. I'll even be able to show him correctly, on a 'loose lead', which very few people accomplish.

Ada heels very nicely for short periods and plays well, she will pass her intermediate class for certain this semester
And that's it, I suppose...
Tacysa Posted May 3, 2004
She's still in puppy classes? You trained her to play?
And that's it, I suppose...

Fetch, drop, bite the toy not me, etc
And that's it, I suppose...

Ah. I've just trained Tara on my own. Just the basics. She's extremely obedient, but not very intelligent.
We discussed animal rights in philosophy today... It was extremely fun.
And that's it, I suppose...

OMG! He admits that his dog isn't the most brilliant creature in the world! Thank you for that.
Animal rights. I hate PETA with a passion hotter than the fires of hell. Ooooooooooooooooh, feel the ire....

People Eating Tasty Animals?

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. So innocent sounding, isn't it? Once, they came out to our house and DEMANDED that we release our dogs into the woods. How long would they survive? Not very long, and how ethical would that be? *seethes*
And that's it, I suppose...

As I said to you perviously groups like PETA, Green-peace and Planet Ark tend to have corporate puppeteers as there leaders or as major players, look at there website and tell me thats not designed by the veterinary association. They get funds from the cooperate underdogs and sometime some overdogs and they get to hide it all. There hypocrites because "Ethical Treatment" is not defined anywhere on there website or at all, its generally whatever they say it is, there as about as ethical as the people who fed pig meat to sheep to stop them from being shipped to muslim countries, I mean what the?

*howl* The thought gets me angrier than almost anything else. *looksaboutforbigstick*
And that's it, I suppose...
Mr. Carrot Posted May 5, 2004
This is why I have a natural distrust of all organizations. I believe in animal rights, but some people just love being better than others and telling other people what's right and not...
And that's it, I suppose...
darakat - Now with pockets! Posted May 5, 2004
the liberal right can be very funny at times, there all for rights and freedom but think that they have the only and proper way to do things, and of course it can be controlled by the market. There the people I call the blue greens.
And that's it, I suppose...
Tacysa Posted May 6, 2004
But they're influencing the world I live in? How can you discount that? Oh, I forgot, they have little power. Amazing what you can reason when you decide to breathe.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
