I'm a U-number again
Yesterday morning at 8 o'clock I was pulled out to OR, and after been given midazolam, which gives retrograde amnesia, I don't remember anything after meeting a bearded Anaesthesiologist with aides.
The next I remember is waking up at NICU and falling asleep again. The surgery went well, just some minor plumbing was needed. Now I'm back at the neurosurgery ward again and waiting for lunch.
The worst that happened so far was an injection of painkillers that caused med to throw up profusely during the night. They had other injections to deal with that.

Thanks for cleaning the place, Hoggy. Last time I was an inpatient at this place I ended up acquiring the winter vomit disease . I had to spend almost a week at Infectious Diseases to recover...

OOh, Norovirus... There's a hospital nearby that's got an outbreak just now. I think ours is currently clear, but it only takes one patient to bring it in...
