We are in a painting mode. This time it's the sunporch. It hasn't been painted for several years and things are looking pretty worn out there. We have decided on a tropical marine theme to go with the salt water aquarium we just installed. Lord C. painted a mural on the wall over the aquarium and we have matched the paint in the room to the background color of the mural. My main job is moving objects to another room in the house and washing down the window sills. Getting rid of the cobwebs that have found their way into every corner of the room falls into my job description as well. When I get that done, I will start painting woodwork and the door. Guess I'd better get with the program.
Oh, did I mention? I hate to paint!

Sorry, didn't catch the dialect.
The mural looks mighty nice. It's the first time Lord C. has painted a marine scene. He usually paints townscapes. We have many old postcards of scenes of the town where we live. He has painted several of them. He sold ten of his paintings to a gentleman here in town who donated them to the local library.

Ooh!. The Monikers started staining their shed today. To match the new siding on the house. The weather is just gorgeous and we hope to finish the job tomorrow. It's only an 8 x 10 shed, and we don't have to stain the side that sits against the house. Definitely not ott.

Depends on your definition of "ott". Just because it isn't a masterpiece doesn't diminish it in my sight. My grandchildren's crayon drawings look like "ott" to me.

I'm looking forward to seeing Lord C's mural.

The room is painted; the windows are washed; there are new cushions on the chair and ottomans. I can't believe how clean everything looks out there! I didn't realize how dingy the walls were until we started the painting project. We have part of the room put back together and will undoubtedly finish it this evening.
I bought fish netting and shells for the hot tub room. Is that too gauche?
