It's Friday morning at 5:05, and I am in a lot of pain. My back is hurting, my arms, shoulders and neck are hurting, and it is all because of FMS.
I don't want to complain all the time. I would rather be well and chipper. I actually have a good sense of humor under all the crankiness caused by the disease.
Anyway, does anyone have any ideas on raising awareness (and funds for research) about Fibromyalgia?

I'm in charge of the Thingites (just got back from work.) and I wandered over to your PS to have a nosey around - and imagine my surprise - a genuine bone-fide priest! 
Anyhoo, I read through your journal, my sympathies that you are unwell - you might like to consider posting this question to <./>askh2g2</.> as it is likely to attract some attention.
The askh2g2 forum is one of the most busiest pages on site, it is a place where researchers can ask anything - I'm certain you'd get a reply there. 
Also you might want to consider dropping by Abi's page U281 (she is our Resident Nice Person, fairy God-Mother type 
) as well as being one of the staff ('Italics') who run the site. She may be able to help you get some attention drawn to your worthy cause.
What is FMS anyway? I've never heard of it. (Potential Guide Entry here I feel!)
Anyway nice to meet you, I'll go offically add you into the Thingite Clan now.

I've just got back online (it's Monday am here in the UK). I am very sorry to hear that your FMS has flared up again.
Today is Imbolc, the feast of Brigidh, so I shall pray that your doctors receive the inspiration they need to help you through this.
