There was another hymn song but I couldn't sing it for my bf was making me laugh with his poor singing and Bill Bailey songs were played when eating. Something about zebras I believe.

I suppose I'll have to say what happened now . It wasn't a big wedding, just close friends and family, but it was a very good day . My dress actually fitted (it took quite a few fittings to get it right ), the flowers were lovely and it stayed dry until the reception despite a terrible weather forecast. The cake was lovely , we finished off the last three slices on Monday. Everyone had a good time and having such a lot of people in the house was actually fun, though I've been clearing up a lot this last week , serves us right for having Milly's christening and our wedding so close together

There aren't that many funny stories about the wedding, most things went very smoothly. My youngest brother forgot his trouses, but a quick shopping trip sorted that. The last slices of the chocolate cake got dropped, but there was plenty of carrot cake left over to make up for it . we were told the day after the wedding that it's our honeymoon next weekend, which is nice, we didn't think we were going away at all

The music list was indeed a bit random, it took my friend, PSG and I a whole afternoon to choose the songs. Still, all the hours of preperation paid off and we had a really great day.

The pictures are still being edited I'm afraid; as Opti knows PSG tends to have glaring red eyes in photos and Milly's nearly as bad

I'm intrigued to know where you are going Unc and I wish you in your job search.

Just to Keswick, I kept telling PSG that I'll have to take him some time as they do a lovely afternoon tea and someone must have listened

She looked very beautiful *ok in PSG's eyes she looks beautiful all the time*.

He couldn't take his eyes off her and the photos are evident that they are very much in love. He wanted just to snuggle next to her ...this is evident as he appears to be hiding a little behind her in some photos. I think the most romantic thing is when you see two people so in love with each other like they are.

Being just a guy, I know nothing about 'romantic'. But it really is a pleasure to see any two people truly that bonded, isn't it?

As to the red-eyes in the pics, my own little girl's wedding was final proof (as if there could be any doubt) that she is mine. In well over 300 pics from 7 sources, the only people with red-eye, and very -like at that, were myself, her, and her only child at the time. Coincidence? Hmmmmm ...

I want to be married one day and have a cute baby like Unc's daughter.

I'm afraid we're like that all the time Opti, we're just a happy little family. I'm sure you'll get married some time Opti, you did afterall get the bouquet . That boyfriend of yours is also one of those people who has a rare talent for being in the right place at the right time

Nothing to be 'afraid' about I think its lovely.
As for my bf being in the right place at the right time should I mention now he is useless when it comes to hot water i.e. he broke mums pot lid...but despite his faults and the fact he lets the other team win Trivial Pursuit I still him and would be lost without him. For he understands me (unlike my family).
