I have heard of the Campus 14. Must give it a go sometime.....

My dad was at Nottingham - when he was there there was a pub for every day of the year.....

The campus 14 has been officially banned however (last year someone got so on it they fell into the lake and drowned). That doesn't stop people, just means we don't get t-shirts anymore...


Nottingham has many good pubs. It's a shame I can't say the same for Hemel . Only found one pub with real , and then you're lucky to find 2 on tap. *sulk*

Right, off to teach the twins (9 year old brother and sister) how to use an OS map...

But Hemel is closeish to Peterborough, so you could come to the Beer Festival (http://www.peterboroughbeerfestival.org.uk - I think)

I bet I can whinge about UWS's AU at least as much as she can whinge about Nottingham's... I reckon "bloomin' AU" to be the (slightly bowdlerized) unofficial motto of Hiking Clubs everywhere. Size means nothing; the club might have more members than all the others put together but if they aren't in BUSA the AU don't want to know.

Except when the AU presidential elections come around and suddenly we're their bestest friend and biggest asset, and they can't do enugh for us, at least until the electioneering is over.

I have a list of every campsite in the uk, if you dont know where they are??

I haven't got the qualification to take people under canvas.

It's also all voluntary work
