St. Patrick's is one of those holidays that American greeting card companies have capitalized on, with the result that none of us Americans is allowed to go around on the 17th without wearing some kind of green and talking in an awful phoney Irish accent.

I don't know how it works around here as a general rule...but I usually go to an Irish pub anyway...so St Pat's is bl**dy huge!!
