Well, I now know what a miner does, what the Underguide is, how all this here started and lots more. I am reading Douglas Adams' first three books plus how the film finally got on its way. And there is the wonderful news that my "Presence of love", subtitled "Death of a husband" got chosen for the Underguide. Meanwhile I'll keep on copying my other stories and enjoy the cooler temperatures of this rainy season. Yesterday I was able to put on a light pullover with long sleeves without melting away in it and that was the first time since I had been in Brasilia last June. So, everything is just fine right now.

Great. We were pretty enthusiastic about your Death of a husband piece, so we'll probably enjoy anything else you can throw us in the AWW.
Keep 'em coming, Farawaylady!

If you say you are stupid you most probably are not!! But yes, I'll unload a lot more, it's a question of time because I have to copy them all.

I don't know about that... I know plenty of people who admit they're stupid and they really are genuinely stupid. But I love 'em anyways
Copy them from a notebook or something? Were they written down and not typed originally?

I know a lot of stupid people too, but don't you think saying that we imply that we are not? Ugh, this is getting deep.
All of my writings over the years were written on my old IBM typewriter. I mean, who could have guessed ten years ago, for example, that now I would be using a computer? I have also kept a diary for some 25 years, but those were in several large copybooks which I have copied by typewriter too, when I was without work once. Those, I do not think I could stand to copy again, they are far too long. Maybe one day my grandchildren will enjoy them, who knows?

I wish I had kept my diary going now Its harder now trying to think back over things that have happened in my life. If I had kept it going it would have to be censored
It would have laso helped me writing my Snippets, which I am finding harder these days
You are the same as me when it comes to computers, I would never had imagined that I would be doing all this on a PC
I have learned so much about it from other folk, and a lot of help form the Help section

Hello Smudger, yes who could have guessed, but isn't it wonderful. A few years ago I used to say, please don't let me die without having had a computer. Now I don't know what I would do without one. My very long diary is only adult reading too because I wrote all my thoughts and feelings in it, good and bad.

When Mk2 and I first got together we kept a diary Looking back on it now we went through some really tough times, (still are in a way<erm)
Anyway for some reason we stopped writitng it up? I think it was when we started our B&B business, as we never had a lot of time
BYW, did I tell that one of my poems is being published in a book? Its the one called Moods

Hi Farawaylady, I feel right daft now, as Ive just posted on the other thread about the poem
Ah! Not to worry Eh, Yes it would seem that we are both being published
The weather has been so good recently that Ive spent a lot more time out in our summer house, and less time on my PC
Must get myself a lap-top so I can sit out and be on line, now that would be Eh?

Not so good weather today though
We drove up to Pitlochery today to visit one of Mk2s sisters, who has a caravan there, but it rained all afternoon
Typical Scottish summer weather but I would rather be here than any where else My globe trotting days are over now

We are having it a little cooler here too at the moment, which for this part of the world is wonderful. But I do long for your climate, rain or no rain. Once I was in a caravan at the Southern Coast of England for two weeks and I loved going around in shorts and a thick pullover. Strong cold wind in my hair, being blown through.. I wonder if I shall feel that ever again. But, let us be cheerful. I am now telling myself every morning when I wake, that today I shall be happy. Since we are what we think as well as what we eat, it works.

Yep! Thats the attitude to have
Take each day as it comes, and if you learn something new or help someone on that day, then thats a bonus
I tend to make the best of any day I have that is without pain, then I go and do too much and suffer later
If there is something youve always wanted to do, then do it!

Good advice, thanks! I am sorry you are in pain. I have started pain too. I guess I have to be grateful that it has not come earlier, that all my life I have been very lucky in every sense, and grateful I am. F
