Today was the introductory assembly for the new senior pupils (of which I am one 
) and it was a shambles. We each had to go up one at a time and shake the head teachers hand, then disappear off the side of the stage. Unfortunatley everyone was clapping and they couldn't hear our names or what the head girl and boy were saying about us) and we were told to go so quickly that no one saw our faces - so no one got introduced! Worse, though, was the way I was intro'd - "Louise is a hardcore recycler".... THANKS

'Laura is a rambler' tends to have mixed results 
. I got this science prize in year 12 and had to be introduced for that. I hadn't been told about it previously though, so was too shocked to care.

Because my school is crud it was completly incapable of running a recycling scheme. Then when I got into Year 12 I started a environmental group and we, amongst other things, started a recycling scheme - one bin per classroom and all that.
And that's what I'm known for.
