for passing that on Prof, great to see you're up & running again Lil!

Hiyya Jab, basically, i left France in November, lured away by a rther lovely man into these green & pleasant hills of me fathers; i had been having some really quite unpleasant experiences there, which i won't go into here 'cos there's a Court Case pending.

It's taken me a rather long time to settle though, mainly due to bureaucratic nonsense & ill health; i reckon i must now be immune to just about every bug in Ireland!

The latest bout of pneumonia stuff seems to be over, thank goodness, i seem to be getting better adapted to the insect allergy also; as to the fight for Habitual Residency, this continues; my Social W**ker came today armed with yet another Appeal, i've got the newly elected politician on my side, also the Euro MP for this area will be on the case soon; i'm quite prepared to take this to the highest levels; the Powers That Bee have to abide by the more legally binding rules of European Parliament; so it's just a question of hanging on in there until they realise this & back off.

Meanwhile, Plan B is applying for work i can do mainly from home via Internet; so if i manage to get this one "you lot" will become guinea pigs for surveys, be warned! I should find out next week if i am shortlisted for interview; how the hell i get to Dublin i don't know, but i will find a way, as Prof says "weebles wobble, but they don't fall down" type attitude!

Lady P, got your email today , not had time to reply yet, but a million thanks, lok forward to seeing what 'treasures' you have managed to find this time! Likewise PC; one of these days i might find time between all this to actually make somemore cheeseboxes, rebuild my stock of stuff etc.

P returns from his work trip at the weekend, then he will be writing reports on Solar Panel Infections, then more or less straight off again to Europe, hopefully returning with Yoda; who will no doubt Sulk Horribly & put in a claim for Abandonment, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder & immediately be awarded Political Asylum status; so then she can support the rest of us!

They rarely do numbers; you are lucky if you don't get "well, if you get to the field with ye've gone too far, so go back a bit & try & find the field with & a couple of cows, watch out for the though, he doesn't take kindly to strangers or postmen!"

Update time:

The European Tour is On, with meself included in it. Starts tomorrow, so may be AWOL from hootoo, depending on whether Les Beast works on Wifi or whatever.

The organisation of this trip requires the planning skills usually used more for starting small but deadly warfare in 3rd Whirled Countries. But the idea of actually having a RL Holiday makes it worthwhile i reckon. We've been hanging around waiting to hear if i'm shortlisted for interview on Thursday; this totally dominates whether it's me & P (in which case he flies) or both of us (in which case we drive & spend longer over the pond); eventually today i just got totally fed up waiting so phoned & got email:

Right, so that's sorted then; obviously i am useless at communicating; but WTF, i don't wish to w**k with folk who can't get it together to inform applicants at least 48 hours in advance that they may be summoned for grilling, so meanwhile put life on hold status!

So: tomorrows list so far is:

*Book Ferry!!!!!!!!
*Get Fritz Pet passport/jabs details from Vet, get him to the Hilton Hotel for here.
*Phone Hilton Hotel for Yoda in France to make sure all her paperwork is sorted, bills paid etc.
*Phone the neighbour down the lane to ask him to keep from doing idiotic things like sticking heads through fencing & stop plants from dying of thirst.(Or drowning, this is Oirland!)
*Phone Social W**ker & inform Am Not Here for about 3 weeks, but please continue fighting for my rights meanwhile please!
*Make food, using defrosted fridge ingredients, for journey (just done that 2am to 6am; anyone needing extra potatoes apply Now!)
*See Doc, get meds to cope with inevitable allergies to new Euro bugs. (done)
* just arrived, wishing for breakfast (she is coming with us also), how she will get on with Yoda & practicalities of 2 Humanoids, one & one in the van is anybody's guess!!! She is fine with Fritz, but Yoda will be traumatised by cattery, away from me, jabs at vets & now the journey....please transmit hootoo calming spells!
*Pack. Small word for large task. P takes the usual attitude of "oh, WTF, it'll all be fine!" but in previous existences i reckon the likkle wumman does this best!
*a million Aye Beewench for putting us up/putting up with us yet again in Dub! Look forward to that curry!!!
too to Lady P, the treasures arrived yesterday, intact except for the candle; but it's a long way to Tipperary from there!
***And last but certainly far fromleast on my list is "inform h2g2 fiends what's happening!!!!!

So: depending on ferry stuff, planned route is probably her to Dublin, Dub to Rosslare or Cork, then to Wales, take in some hills i knew from many years back, hopefully meet up with me old mate A from B'ham on his narrowboat; then down south to get ferry to Belgium or Holland; drive into Germany; see P's folks & boat on the Rhine; then into France, taking in the Massif Central (big hills, P can climb them, i will retire to bar with & meanwhile!)then pick up Yoda, back as quick as poss (at that stage i retire to mattress in van with more & animals!) & pray all paperwork is sorted....microchipped animals; honestly; i ask you; it just doesn't seem right somehow.

And with luck, end up back here & finally get to see if the baby swallows have passed their flying test; retrieve Fritz from Hilton Ireland, count etc....Jeez, holidays are hard w**k!!

Talking of Jeez; we went to the latest local craic on Sunday, the Priest's Housewarming party, great time! Kids & bouncy castles, BBQ, great food, lovely to say hiya again to Local Fiends....a band or 3 played & the Priest asked ME to dance with him!!!!!!

I've never danced with a Priest before;must remember to include this on my next job application "has God on her side".

So: quick; tell me what the rest of you are up to before i may go AWOL!!!!
