It might be silly, but h2g2 is a very confusing place. Its practicly impossible to find a conversation that lasts for more than 4-5 days.

If you want to find a live conversation (and it looks like you've already found a few) then <./>Askh2g2</.> is a very good place to look - there are often hundreds of 'em within the last few hours!

Hi Legers. I do a journal entry once a year (don't ask it just happened that way). 2001 was a stinker - only two responses. 2002 is currently up at 1766 responses and still going strong - it hasn't the decency to know when to stop !

Red, the answer is simple. You got an incredible talent for sparking a conversation. But there is always an ugly one in the family and 2001 was that bad one.

there are plenty of threads that last longer than a few days.
try looking for the folders arms or the tea shoppe.
there is one thread that is over 50.000 postings long. about renaming thursdays.
have a lurk and see what you can find. it will surprise you.
