I do not follow sports so maybe I am missing information.
I am willing to listen if so.

NHL not playing!
I hope their fans are mad like the baseball fans.
How many peoples jobs will be affected by them not working? How many workers who could never afford to buy a ticket let alone get along without the fans will be in trouble? Fans purchase food and drinks and nice meals,parking and hotels et.
The cottage industry around them will suffer and it will likely give long term losses in several cities.

Spoiled poo heads Is right abbi. There was a story on the local news about a waitress in a sports bar planning to get married this summer, but without hockey & big-tipping hockey fans they can't afford it this year! And of course there's the parking lot attendants,etc, etc.

Given that these bunch of spoilt brats who can - what? - play hockey? - actually depend on the public for their over-paid living and expensive lifestyles, they are totally giving their fans the finger big-time and showing them no respect or gratitude whatsoever.

Shame on them.

Well said az...it (just my observation) seems to have been the management end that brought the house down, so to speak.

I had a link to NHL story several times.
My computer keeps freezing, it's nearly impossible to get a link and get it postedforget consistent spell checks or more than one open windowvideo,radio, most pictures.

The blame lays from the players on up IMO.
I used to watch a little sports but the whole loyalty thing of one team in one town and a fan for life ( started with the Babe, before I was a fan) has been totally lost. The fake health aspects of performance enhancing ( which GWB being an owner was and is totally aware of) , the choice of advertising done in sports, the egomaniacs with high salaries, the ruining of bodies and education for short term gain and big bucks seems..

I assume it can be done since it made it to me as an embedded image. Some sort of embedded image hassle- It acts as if it's never allowed.
Pointers appreciated.

An embedded image?

Most people* send jpeg attachments which turn out just fine. If you send some other sort I can always switch it to jpeg after I receive it.

I neglected to post a link to/about a local hockey-related fund-raiser http://www.worldslongestgame.com . Pretty much a seasons - or@least a good portion of a seasons - worth of hockey crammed into 10 days ...& for a good cause!
