Gee, that last journal entry predicting the Cards would win is a bit embarassing now.
However, I was very correct in my prediction "I imagine after November I'll have enough material for a 'The Presidential Electoral Importance of Ohio, USA' entry."
Now, the reason for my latest journal entry.
See the little eyeballs to the left of 'Jodan' on your screens? They should have glasses on them. That's right. I am now a Glassed American. I rather think they make me look smart, but more importantly, I can see
Oh, and while I'm writing a journal entry for a trivial reason, A1092539 Volunteer to be a Miner. A1092575 Volunteer to be a Gem Polisher. Do it
(I realize that most of the people who have me on their Friends lists are already in the UG, but I certainly feel more proactive as an editor when I do these sort of things)

Congratulations on the Seinfeld DVDs. Now there's something for Santa to bring you.
Seeing is a good thing.

Are you kidding? It came out November 23, it was something for some turkey to get me. Unfortunately, turkeys are stupid.
Seeing is believing
I can't believe how dirty the floor is.

Now you'll be able to find the mop and the vaccuum cleaner.
I cancelled my subscription to satellite tv. I'm going back to cable. I am furious with Dish Network. They deserve to go out of business. And since they own Direct TV, (or maybe it's the other way around), I'm not going to switch to them. The cable company is a little higher, but they have a human being available to talk to.

I will concede the point to you, but what the heck does Ohio have to do with it?

Hi Jodan,
I'm on a temporary break from EG stuff but will be back after Christmas, but if the UG needs me more than the EG then I could become a miner instead, I couldn't do both I don't think.

Hi Z. Long time no type.
No, no, the UG can't take EG volunteers away. It's up to you and which you'd prefer to do. You're a great scout - one of the best, but I think you'd make a great miner too.
(not much of an answer, eh?)

I love your tact..
The EG will live without me, I'll contine as old a venerable sage in the corner, (or a Consultant as we call them in the NHS). But if the UG is likely to fold without more people then.. well I'm needed more there.

To tell you the truth, I'm a vener-er... Consultant for the UG right now.
I doubt that the difference between folding and staying alive will hinge on one person. More miners are definitely needed, but make the decision for yourself.
(that's the tact acting up again)

I think I'll try being both, but if it comes to choosing the UG would win..
Is that tact ok?
