i have no knowledge of what has prompted your decision, but i thought you should know that i think you're brilliant and the groups you're leaving will miss you weather they realize it or not. but if you're going to use all your newly found spare time to write even *more* for the guide you'll put us all to shame.
oh wait, you already do.

But even that's welcome...
Jodan, in all sincerity, I hope whatever mishaps have befallen you recently have not driven you away from h2g2, because you are a very much valued member of the site.
Now, GreyDesk, about those sheep...

Acht! It's not a funeral. I need no eulogy. I'm still here.
I am not driven. I am definitely not leave.

Hey Wolf? What's all this? Leaving groups? I am so sorry... you have done so much hard work. I trust it is only a temporary sabatacal?
However it will give you more time to thwart the redoubtable phocoid
take care good friend

Boots, not temporary I'm afraid. Well, I may rejoin the ACEs eventually. But for the foreseeable future, it's three badges.

Not nice. What's happening over in the NSS by the way? Has there been a fall out there too? I've been climbing a student mountain that makes K2 look like Holland. Just over half way through the course and drowning in an ocean of grammar.

Not sure, boots. Just a temporary stalling, I guess.
Well, remember I before E except after C. Unless it's weird.
Well, in American English anyway, your side of the Atlantic, I can't account for.

Hey Jodan,
Just popping in to say I don't know what happened but am glad to see all these people supporting you.
I hope, even though you've left some groups, you continue to enjoy the rest of h2g2.

Of course
I'm very glad there are all these people here too, but a bit confused. People leave groups every day. I'm just keeping the average up.

Hey! It's been a while since we were online at the same time.
Okay, people do leave groups all the time. I get the impression though, that you were a very valuable member of these groups. I guess people are just sorry to see you go. Looks like you made an impression.
You have to do what's right for you though.

Oh, by the way. I use safari too and have found that smileys often don't behave themselves.
I haven't updated my journal in a while, I still have a Christmas entry showing on my space. I used a line of smileys in it and only one of them flashes. Also when you hover over a smiley it doesn't give you a screen tip.
I do love the way safari has an inbuilt spell-checker though.

Time zones do make it tough.
Definitely not a valuable guru. I almost handed that badge in because I wasn't using it. But it would have upset the color scheme of my PS
Decent scout. Okay ACE by the statistics.

I like Safari. It's got some of the good stuff of Opera and some of the good stuff of IE. Plus some good stuff of its own - including the spell checker.
All of the s flash for me well. In a nice little rhythm to the flashes too

Researcher 198131 Posted Mar 4, 2004
I wonder why only one of my flashes then.
Must be just me. (Just realising how this conversation might sound outside of hootoo)
I think, other than the things I just mentioned, Safari is the best browser I've used.
I love the tabs! It did used to unexpectedly quit on me sometimes. I have fixed that now though.

Tabs are wonderful. The little bar of shortcuts. All very nice

Let's see, it was a while ago now.
I went here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107657 and I think point II worked for me. If it doesn't work, there's a list of other stuff in point III
IE still unexpectedly quits on me, but I only use it for my work email anyway.
