(a chance for shameless self-promotion)
More than one year ago, after I was locked out of another account, I tried a login name and password that I had usually used everywhere, in hopes I had registered that account earlier. I had registered this account and posted once months before. And it was U201497.
This account has been my happy home for a year now. Amazing that it's been a year. Does it feel like more than a year or less than a year? I don't know, but it doesn't feel like a year. I'm surprised I could learn so much in a year and I'm surprised it went so fast!
For a list of my accomplishments this year, please do anything.
Jodan is one.
Pimms Posted Jan 26, 2004
I do have a fairly good idea what you've done over the last year, as I've been around for most of it
Shame you can't start the new year with the same name you started the last one with Hope the committee for taste and decency (or whoever), that blocked your recent nick, explain their actions to your satisfaction
Pimms (less than a month to my h2g2 birthday )

Thanks boots, Pimms and sprout Just because you've been very nice, I won't subject you to the list of my acheivements.
Now if Hypatia or someone comes along and ruins this, well I'm afraid you'll all have to suffer

Hypatia Posted Jan 26, 2004
Why do you automatically assume that I will be cranky and insult you? Next thing I know you'll be lobbying for a badge that says 'Researcher most often insulted by Hypatia'.
Here, have a cantaloupe to celebrate your achievements.

That's it! You asked for it with the cantaloupe I'll go alphabetically...

Congratulations Jodan
H2g2 couldn't have a nicer sheep...wolf...possum...
Waz (who thought of changing the subject line to 'Jodan is one short of...' but thought of the list (which is enormous) and thought better of it)
Jodan is number one!
J Posted Jan 26, 2004
I think I have a better subject line anyway, Waz
Well, that's a pretty padded list. Not all really big accomplishments.
Thanks Waz...
Jodan is number one!
LL Waz Posted Jan 26, 2004
Maybe they're not all big but some of them are real and impressive.
Oh, and you missed;
h2 reasearcher into Windex.
h2g2 procrastinator, (achieved this week if not before).
And having your name moderated is an achievement too!
Jodan is number one!
J Posted Jan 26, 2004
Alabaster. The only way to go.
It shouldn't have been moderated though I've said plenty of worse things in my nickname.
Jodan is a one! Ooh, suits you sir!
Pimms Posted Jan 26, 2004
'Alabaster user' is hardly an accomplishment. It is just making things difficult for yourself when you could be using Brunel
Jodan is one important man.
J Posted Jan 26, 2004
Brunel is much less navigable than alabaster. I have toolbars at the bottom and top of pages and my links on my page are designed for alabaster so I don't have to scroll to the bottom to click them.
