Jodan Steps Down...

Hello one and all.
As of (a bit after) September 5, I will step down to the role of Assistant UnderGuide Editor temporarily. It's not 100% clear who will take my place right away, but someone will... probably. If the candidate I have in mind doesn't come back in time from the states (I've given it away now) in time, then Ben will take over for a few weeks.
I'll most certainly be back after a few months.
Why? I won't be able to do all I want to in the next few months. I'll still be helping out with things that only I know how to do

You've been involved in so much lately. Truly impressive. But there are only so many hours in the day. And you'll still be involved. And will take over the helm again. So it isn't like you're disappearing. That would make me very cranky.

Yes, it's only temporary I don't think the UG will suffer because of it, it's mostly compulsatory work. I'll still be a miner and a gem polisher

So what will you be doing instead? The Grand Tour, perhaps. Polishing The Dome. Running Gary Coleman's campaign.

I know, I gathered.
It's just that if you slow down a bit, it'll seem like about a hundred people have left...

Nice one. Surely you should be heading for sleep though? I have just beaten all the staff into work which is no fun, the boss should always be late. Drove to gig in Southampton last night (offsprung playing a bit of lead guitar) and then drove back again, four hour return trip. Got to bed at 1 and had to do the flower run at 6, so now bored and tired. Thankfully have a batallion in for today so should be able to slope off into office and recover.
Good band watch out for them 'Ante'. Excellent singer songwriter and loads of energy. Took me ages to find the venue. Stopped four groups of students for direction...hopeless...not a clue.
Eventually stopped cab and asked. Well couldn't begin to understand the dialect. 'You drive I'll follow'...what would one do without taxi's? Lots of Offsprung's mates there and they suggested I should have left car at home and cabbed both ways...as if? But they are aware of my hopelessness!
Good fun being parent of the band though and the beautiful boys looked after me well. Rats the staff are arriving, I shall have to organise!
take care
