I try to keep it down to once every six months Which was the last time I did anything like this. I'm not usually an easy sleeper, but when I've got work due in I'm a terrible worrier and won't sleep until its done.

I've done all I can for the night, so I'm going to get a couple of hours sleep and try and sort it out tommorow with the person I have to see. Its part of teacher training I'm doing (even though I want to be a college (16-18) lecturer I have to go in to a secondary (11-16) school to get it sorted... figure that one out)... but the person has been understanding so far... I hope this continues...

We're sorting out the Alabaster House and inaugural pages. It's more complicated than it sounds.

Gosh, I hardly recognise all you people with your handy andy anagrammies. Trouble with a name like ~jwf~ is that it canna be anagramatised except maybe as "fwj" which some people, especially dyslexixs, will think is 'fudge' and I don't give out treats especially to dizzy lexxics. So fudge that, I say.


Just wanted to say "Congrats" and "I told ya so" to all the nice folks of the Hypatial Cyberspatial Hegemony whose relentless pestering finally got me to the polls.

I should probably paste a copy of my email-vote as proof that I also predicted the two runners up would also be my 2nd and 3rd choices, the most serious guy (Gnomon) and the silliest guy (2legs).

It was obvious of course that the winner would be someone who could straddle this quintessential dichotomy of laughter versus tears and bring the h2g2left and h2g2right wings together.
And sure enough the Hypatial Cyberspatial came out on top by a margin of two to one. Just like h2o.
