yep definitely great news... i have been accessing any conversation i wanted without having to click on the 360 link but most of all without having all these annoying blue messages... it makes surfing/lurking much more easier and faster and certainly much less frustrating...

have you got the skin in your preferences box?!... if not go to the front page and look for the bit about the new DNA version release... click on it... then you will see a link... that will put you in "plain" skin...
you still have to click on preferences to check if you're on "plain"... mine was saying alabaster so i changed it for "plain"... once you click "update" that's it you're in for as long as you want...

one thing tho'... the most recent posts are at the bottom of your page... took me some time to get used to it... but it's still great...

well lots of great things have happened in here in a few months time...

i will post you a few links tomorrow especially the ones about the "fav' TV series" and our [friendly] "writing competition" which from now on will be easier to get involved in...

just so iv got it correct should my skin now be DNA hub? cus wen i went into the DNA hub and i then went on preferences that was the only skin available!

once the "plain" skin is listed in the preferences list you can look at the entries in your chosen/favourite skin and when you want to do some lurking and access conversations you can use this skin...
or something around that... hehe... some entries got links for different skins so it should be possible to do the same with this one... will investigate...

but yeah it sure makes lurking more pleasant...

plus it's also the sign that digibox users have been accepted as part of the h2g2 community... especially the fact that they let a skin go "live" still in the prototype stage... especially for us... quite a big thing by itself...

oh well, november hasn't been a bad month on here... two new DNA sites plus this digibox friendly skin...

iv been doing loads of (surfer> since u gave me this skin! its alot beta layout to wot i was using before! i also find this site alot beta than LD cus i find u can intereact with ppl easier and u get more known quicker. all thanks to that friends of leisuredistrict. wen i was using LD apart from replies in priv messaging u dont get recognised but in here u do

yep... it's a shame about LDers who have given up before... i'm sure they would be astonished to see the improvements now...

at least now we can make the most of the digibox... and properly enjoy the site...

re: smileys... they do bring some more out regularly... so you could choose a temporary one until the right one comes out...

you might need to make a few more visits there first... i don't think i even saw all of them...
