*jumps up and down with excitement*
So soon! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have everything packed?
Are you on the way to the airport already?
Just to make sure you don't miss the flight, of course!

thank you, y'all
lol, i just missed you VIP *points at your uspace*
as for the champagne..well if it helps the little ones sleep....
actually, i'm a little nervous. none of my legitimate doping experiments have worked..i'm not sure i'm going to be able to knock them out at all! well, they are very mild-mannered. and they will have plenty of snacks and activities. it should all be ok...right?

How long is a US to UK flight?
The young people should be OK - there's all the fun of takeoffs and landings, and fascinating nearly-food on little trays, and inflight movies, and all sorts of other things that have novelty value... In extremis, there's always the dishonest dodge of telling them that if they sleep they'll get there sooner. (That always used to work on my sister.)

lessee..spokane to minneapolis, 3 hours; min to amsterdam, 8 hours; ams to edinburgh, 2 hours. and only about 5 hours worth of layovers, so i think we'll be ok.
the kids are very impressed that we get 'beggietarian' meals. personally, i'm annoyed that they couldn't give them veggie child's meals with the funness. i think it's one or the other, though i wonder if i could entreat upon a kind stewardess to note their cuteness and spoil them appropriately

I expect they'll sleep on the flight to Amsterdam; that one might drag a bit and wear them down.

That's a *lot* of flying! I knew it'd take longer from the west coast of the US, but oh my...
Yes, the babies might be convinced to doze off for most of the longer flight, even if they're too excited to sleep the rest of the time. Hopefully there will be a good selection movies to choose from to keep them entertained. Or someone on board who just loves children and will help keep them entertained. (I've actually head of that happening before.)
